About the brand: Tanvi Gupta (TG) blends Indian textiles with contemporary Western designs.

Our collection celebrates traditional Indian textiles sourced directly from weavers, including brocade, bandhani, mashrus, as well as upcycled saris, while embracing modern and stylish cuts that cater to you.

As a gender and size-inclusive brand, we ensure our garments cater to diverse body types and personal styles. 

About the founder: TG was founded by Tanvi Gupta, a creative with who is obsessed with design and Indian textiles. From a young age, Tanvi was immersed in the world of fashion, with her mother—a renowned designer with over 30 years of experience—at the helm. Surrounded by tailors, karigars (craftspeople), and a rich tapestry of fabrics, she grew up in an environment that nurtured her love for fashion.

While working in the fast fashion industry in the US, Tanvi recognized the harsh reality of curtailed rights of production workers and the lack of importance placed on sustainable practices. Motivated to create positive change, Tanvi left the U.S. and returned to Bangalore and launched Tanvi Gupta, a brand that prioritizes ethical fashion, Indian craftsmanship, and sustainable production methods.
